Hi friends! I wanted to share one of my all time favorite recipes today! I always use low carb pita wraps so this is a meal that absolutely anyone can eat, no matter what diet plan you are on!
Ingredients
Olive oil
Tumaros low carb wheat wraps
Romaine lettuce
Chopped Cilantro
Chopped tomatoes
Stove top ingredients
Red Pepper, chopped
Green Pepper, chopped (or any peppers of your choice if you prefer yellow/orange)
2 cloves of garlic (I use 3-4)
1 teaspoon Cumin
1 teaspoon Cayenne
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon Curry powder
3 chicken breasts, cut
½ lemon, juiced
Sauce
1 cup of nonfat greek yogurt
3 cloves of garlic
2 tablespoons of Tahini butter
½ lemon, juiced
Cut up garlic cloves, green and red pepper and place in stir fry dish with olive oil.
Add diced chicken and cook thoroughly. When chicken is slightly browned, sprinkle cumin, cayenne, lemon juice and curry powder on chicken and stir until mixed.
While chicken/vegetables are cooking, mix lemon juice, yogurt, tahini butter and garlic and stir in a bowl. Set aside.
Chop tomatoes and cilantro and set aside.
Build your pita! Place yogurt sauce on bottom, with chicken and vegetables on top. Sprinkle top with tomatoes, cilantro and lettuce to taste. Enjoy!
**You can adjust your spices or amount of garlic and spices to what your personal preferences are. We love garlic and spicier food so i tend to go on the heavier side.
