Happy November! I hope you all had a super fun halloween…I think I am still recovering from the candy overdose lol!
I am more than excited for the next 2 months! Christmas is my favorite holiday, and thanksgiving ranks right behind it. It makes it extra special now that my older son FULLY understands all holidays and my little guy is starting to get it too!
Also…I’m in my 3rd trimester?!! 28 weeks already and I can’t believe it. More on this next week with some fun posts on workouts, how I’m feeling, weight update and some third trimester clothing go-tos!
Outfit deets from above: Obsessed with the Free People Tunic….perfect for pregnancy/non pregnancy! I am wearing Good American Maternity jeans ( you can hate all you want…but my girl Khloe Kardashian knows how to make a good pair of jeans…) and my booties are from Nordys (all of these are linked above).
VEST: I spoke about my vest below and linked it. Its from Target. I also linked 2 other options for you guys!! I had so many requests about finding good faux fur vests so hope you all like the options. I LOVE the Target one.
I was totally last minute with Halloween this year…mostly because neither of my kids could decide on a costume. They legit changed their mind every . single. day. To top that off, any costume I tried to get on my 2 year old he would have a tantrum and say “don’t like it”. “don’t want it”. #terribletwos. Then, both boys came down with colds.
Anyway, I decided on UPS outfits because they are both asking for UPS trucks for Christmas! lol. Also, the UPS man is literally at our house every day. ha.
When we got the costumes in, Seb had the biggest meltdown about not wanting to wear it. I let it go, and thought that in a few days & by the time halloween rolled around he would be good to go. I thought wrong. Fast forward to Halloween night, and he was relentless. The only thing that got that costume on him was the candy that we promised him from trick or treating.
Max, on the other hand, loved the costume. Once Seb got moving he was happy!
We kept the night short due to the colds! All I keep thinking about next year is how much of a shitshow its gonna be with a 5 year old, a 3 year old, and a 10 month old…lol
Ok..on to the good stuff!!
There are a few things I’ve been loving lately and wanted to share them with y’all ! All items are linked below and let me know if you have any questions about anything!
The faux Fur vest seen in my photo: I have gotten several DM’s about my faux fur vest and where I got it from. Unfortunately it is super old (I need a new one!!) but hadn’t been able to find one that matched its look, or quality! Enter this faux fur vest from …yes, my friends, TARGET. $40, super soft, great color & quality, warm, and the LENGTH is amazing. If you’re on the hunt for a nice faux fur vest for layering…this is the one to buy! Trust me! The other two that I have found that are similar are the ones I linked above- the banana republic one (everything is 40% off right now, and free shipping over $100); and the Bailey 44 option! The one I’m wearing in my insta post/top of this page is from Target and honestly IMO is best option for the price alone!
Rachel Hollis “Girl Wash your Face”. (Pictured above) Ok- real talk. I haven’t read a book since I had Max. We won’t discuss how long ago that was….or how bad that is. Anyway! I finally got a chance to read a book or two on my babymoon to Paris and lets just say every female needs to read this book. STAT.
Life. Changing. That is all.
This L’oreal BB Cream: This is an awesome drugstore find that I have found literally takes all of your redness and skin imperfections away! It goes on green (I know that sounds weird) which is awesome because it honestly matches with pretty much any skin color. Most days I apply this before my foundation; but some days this is all I use and I feel fully covered but not heavy at all!
I don’t get eyelash extensions so I’m always on the hunt for good mascara (especially on days I don’t wear falsies). I found this L’oreal Mascara and I swear its as good as any kind you get from sephora for double the price.
Athleisure: these leggings from American Eagle. So. dang. comfy. I sized up to a M for the bump, but would probably be a XS or S normally. Super comfortable and still make you look put together. Paired with that is these awesome pullovers! They have a hood, and super cute buttons on the side (hello, nursing/bump friendly :) ) They run very oversized. I am wearing the Small at 28 weeks pregnant and still have room, so I would say size down. I’m wearing both in the photo above.
Lastly…gimme allllll the Leopard lately!! I saw this Madewell Leopard dress (so stinking cute) and would have bought already if I wasn’t pregnant…also this sweater…precious!!! …..and I bought this fun beanie from Express already!
Ok…coulden’t resist adding my 2 year old’s hair cut photos in the Saturday Spotlight. Enjoy!!!
Hope you all have an awesome weekend! xo
