Happy Saturday all! Hope you had a killer week! I am so happy to say we are finally a sickness free household! My little man is still on some nebulizer treatments but is doing much better :) Its crazy how sick kids can throw a havoc into every day life! I swear that it was the longest few days ever. It is so great to see both boys feeling better and back to their normal energetic selves. Makes you become more grateful for your health!
My Christmas Vow
I’ve honestly made a vow this Christmas to be more present, more relaxed and just more ZEN. And by that I mean not going crazy with all the things on the “to do” or “bucket list” for Christmas time. So I’m Slowing down. Not only for my own sanity, but also for everyone elses! I feel like when I’m stressed, it rubs off on everyone else in my family and I’m not as patient with my kids.
Also, getting both kids packed up and out to the stores just isn’t possible at times between work and how I’m feeling at 33 weeks pregnant (yess…so LARGE and uncomfortable!)
How you might ask am I doing this??? I’ve been doing a TON of ordering online these days..even more so than normal for reasons #pregnancy..and because of the convenience and the fact that almost everywhere has free shipping! WIN!
I think realizing that you can obsess all night and day about whether something is the “perfect gift”. It really is your thought and time that matters! And giving gift cards is OKAY!!! Also, I’ve tried to order earlier than I normally do-in November and really used Black Friday weekend as a huge time to get a lot done.
Sharing is caring…!!
I thought what better way than to share what I’ve been scoring on amazon.. (other than diapers and wipes LOL) so I’ll be sharing weekly/bi weekly with y’all some of my fave Amazon finds because who doesn’t love prime??!! These items range anywhere from gift ideas, kids stuff, beauty, to clothes, to hacks to help you around the house!! So here is round 1!!
First is a few items from my outfit. My hat is so stinking cute and warm. I’ve gotten a few compliments on it already and it comes in a ton of colors. Teddy coats are really in right now, but finding one that is a good price is hard to find! You cannot beat $40! This Teddy coat is so soft, and really good quality. It runs TTS. I love these Bearpaw boots, something different to the usual Sorel or Ugg that everyone has and they have a tiny heel. I sized up FYI.
I’ve Linked the rest of my items here- maternity jeans and sweater, as well as another option for the boots and Max’s outfit :)
Next up…this is a random selection of items!
My favorite stretch mark cream: expectant mamas you need to get this! I love it, I feel like I’m bigger than my previous 2 pregnancies and I have less marks this time around than my second. I never really got huge stretch marks or anything but around my belly button I did get a few (both my kids have been close to 9 lbs!). Anyway, I really love this stuff. It lasts forever (I am still on my first bottle- just ordered my second and I only have 6 weeks left! A lot of it genetic and how you eat, exercise, etc but I think moisturizing and making sure you are keeping that area hydrated helps!
This book is the BEST gift you can give your mom, your friend, cousin, or YOURSELF. Life. changing. Please buy.
These are my fave lashes I use. I can’t do the eyelash extensions and these are mess free (no glue, they just stick on). They are the BEST.
I love this leopard hat!
These are the best car seat covers for those of you traveling with kids over the holidays!
Good stocking stuffer…I love my wet brush!
Beauty Blender holder…nothing is worse than having your blender open in your kit and getting everything else all messy.
We used this mat for both boys through the 8 month-2 year phase to keep our floor from getting destroyed!!
I have heard awesome things about this steamer! I have to try it out! Awesome gift idea esp for someone who travels a lot!
Kitsch makes the best scrunchies. This would make a great stocking stuffer or little gift.
I bought this clutch bag about a month ago and its great to throw in the stroller with some diapers and wipes- I even bring to the YMCA sometimes if I bring my youngest with me and don’t want to bring a huge backpack! You can store the essentials in it without being bulky!
Hope you all have a great weekend and that this gave you some easy gift ideas or something to make your life EASIER and more convenient this time of year!!
